I was fortunate to work with Monica on the Church Growth Digest and then as a part time paid employee as the Small Church Officer, developing resources, travelling and teaching and working with various denominations and editing the Small Church Network Newsletter. In this role Monica was a strong supporter and encourager. She knew the value of helping smaller churches to repurpose themselves around the mission of God. Those years of working with her and under her generous and creative leadership were formative for me and my future service for Christ.
I remember her fondly, and am grateful to God for her tireless service to the body of Christ. My prayers continue for the family and all who were influenced by her love for Christ and his church.
