Dear friends
This Autumn Newsletter brings you greetings from C&M Ministries and an update on the future plans for the ministry.
During this very hot summer we have still managed to make progress on some projects and we hope that you will be encouraged as we continue to ensure that the records of Clifford and Monica’s long ministry are made available to future generations.
In this Newsletter
Clifford and Monica’s books now for sale online

As you know, Clifford and Monica have written and published numerous books during their 70 years of ministry. In the past these books were distributed by PWM when they were based at Moggerhanger, and latterly by Issachar Ministries until they closed their offices in 2020. Since then many boxes of unsold books have been stored in Clifford and Monica’s garage whilst we looked for a new retail outlet. We’re thrilled to announce that an online Christian book seller has now collected all the books and is selling them through their website, www.lovechristianbooks.com.
Links to this site have been added to our website Books | C & M Heritage. Some past books are now out of stock, but any that are still in print can be found here.
LoveChristianBooks also have some special bulk offers available:

Prophecy Today

In our last newsletter we reported that Ben's current project is to digitalise the remaining printed editions of Prophecy Today magazine. The first ten years of the magazine (from 1985 to 1996) are already freely available to view or download here, and Ben has now added here the complete editions from 1997 and 1998, as well as the first three editions of 1999 and one edition from 2003. Please keep an eye on this page as Ben continues to digitalise and upload the remaining editions over the next few months. In other news, Ben and his wife, Frances, celebrated the 1st birthday of their first child, Esther, at the end of July so we are sure you will join them and us in giving thanks to the Lord for watching over them this past year as a family together.
Memories
Some of the resources now available on our website may trigger memories for you. If you have any thoughts or memories that you would like to share, Angela would love to hear from you. Complete the form at the following link:
You also read some contributions already there.
Preserving the Ministry Archives

During the summer we have been in contact with the chief curator of John Rylands Library in Manchester, and we hope to set up a meeting shortly to discuss adding the C&M Ministries archive papers into their collection. The Archive of Evangelical Christianity being established in the John Rylands Library is now starting to take shape and we are very pleased to be able to join with this valuable project. We hope to be able to bring you more news in our next newsletter.
Publications and Books Update
Progress on new books has been slow during the hot summer months; heat and holidays are not the best environments for creative book writing!
However, Cliff has now completed ‘Why Seek the Living Among the Dead’. This theological analysis of the early church is a message that Cliff has felt God urging him to write for many years. In this book, Clifford argues that the church has moved away from its original purpose of bringing a message of new life through the resurrection of Christ, and the central concept of the community of believers as the body of Christ under the headship of Jesus.
During the summer this book was sent to our advisors before being sent to our regular proof-readers who help us to prepare the book for publication. Our advisors felt that although it is a very valuable in-depth theological book which would appeal to academics, they also felt that it contained a message that needed to be heard more widely. Therefore, Cliff is now working on a simplified version which would have a wider appeal. We are looking at the possibility of publishing both books alongside each other and will keep you informed of progress in future newsletters.
We are also still considering publishing options for Cliff’s book ‘The Great Awakening’ about the charismatic movement and hope to be able to bring you more news in our next newsletter.
And finally …
We pray God’s blessing for you all. Please continue to hold the ministry in your prayers. We will be in touch with you again at Christmas with more news of our ongoing work and future plans.
Clifford, Jenny, Alison, Stephen, Angela, Neil, and the rest of the team.
