My parents, Sid and Charlotte Cheale were evangelists for the European Christian Mission of Rossendale, northern England. We had a large property in the North Downs of England called Farleigh Dene, also known as Bethel Dene where we held summer camps for London children, when the Church revivals were beginning in late 1960s. My parents were friends with Monica and Clifford Hill. I had a happy childhood there and was amazed at the new hymns writtten at that time and the miracles, but I was 60 years old before I 'saw the light' and life made sense then.
