Book cover for Rich Christians Poor Christians

In the 1980s Christians in the Third World were rich in ways that those in the West had never dreamed of.  Poor materially, they were rich in their faith and spiritual experience.  Using a Bibe study technique, Monica Hill tells some of the great stories of faith in the twentieth century and chart six areas where there is an alarming contrast between Christians of the First and Third World.

Background History

Monica Hill had already been running the British Church Growth Association for some ten years and among others had edited two symposia for them on ‘How To Plant Churches’ and ‘Entering the Kingdom’ when she was commissioned to write these reflections on the burgeoning international travel that she and her husband were pioneering. Originally a tape with much more study material was available as supplementary material
