It is with great sadness we need to let you know that Monica Hill passed away on Christmas Eve and is now resting at peace with our Lord and Saviour.
Monica was actually working on more material to go on the website when she collapsed, and we will certainly be ensuring that this material is added to the Ministry pages of the website shortly. It is a great comfort that much time last year was spent digitalising all past copies of Monica’s Church Growth Digests which are now available on our website; and in November we digitally published Monica’s book, ‘East Enders Restoration’, chronicling her community development work in the 1970s which was to prove foundational to much of Clifford and Monica’s later ministry.
Following a family funeral on Jan 20th, we will be holding a service of Thanksgiving and Celebration of Monica’s life at 1.30pm on Friday 7th March, at Bunyan Meeting Church in Bedford (Directions in PDF below). It would be lovely to see anyone there who wishes to celebrate Monica’s life, but it will be broadcast live on YouTube for anyone who is unable to make the journey to Bedford. Simply follow this link on the day:

We would request no flowers, but should anyone wish to make a donation in her memory, gifts can be made either via the CAF donate button on this website (we are currently allocating all donations via that link to Monica’s legacy fund) or by BACS transfer direct to C&M Ministries Trust a/c no: 00018239 sort code: 40-52-40. Please mark it “Monica’s Legacy”
Obviously, this is a difficult time for Clifford, the family, and the rest of the team, so please uphold us all in your prayers as we come to terms with this sudden loss. We have been overwhelmed with the prayers, messages and support received and pass on grateful thanks.
Clifford, Jenny, Alison, Stephen, Angela, Neil and the rest of the team.
